Trail Overview

This Trail provides ample time to focus on the wildlife and landscapes of Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks, while also including opportunities to explore the cultural and historical sites of Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National Parks. You’ll come away with stunning photographs and unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s natural beauty.

Day 1-2: Arrival in Arusha.

Upon arrival in Tanzania, transfer to your lodge in Arusha for an overnight stay.

Day 3-5: Tarangire National Park.

Head to Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and stunning landscapes. Spend three days exploring the park and photographing its diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Day 6-9: Serengeti National Park.

Next, transfer to Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. Spend four days exploring the park’s vast savannahs, capturing shots of the wildebeest migration, lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. Serengeti is also home to several Maasai communities, offering unique cultural photography opportunities.

Day 10-11: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers a stunning diversity of wildlife and landscapes. Spend two days exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to some of the densest wildlife populations in Africa, including lions, rhinos, and wildebeests.

Day 12-13: Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is known for its flamingos, tree-climbing lions, and diverse birdlife. Spend two days exploring the park and photographing its unique wildlife and landscapes, including the Rift Valley escarpment.

Day 14: Departure

On your final day, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
